Back in February our daughter was defrauded out of most of her life savings on the internet. Since that time, I have made all sorts of discoveries including, but not limited to, safe online practices as well as legal remedies for people who find themselves in that situation.
I thought social networking would be the way to get the message out. But frankly I've been having troubles.
My first step was to start a blog. Let me now reveal the depth of my ignorance! I have no idea what the address is! I used Google to create it. The only way I could ever locate the blog was through my bookmark or my Google acct. Then one day I signed onto my Google dashboard and the blog was gone.
I started a MySpace site. It looks like it was put together by a third grader. I started a MySpace group. I even have members! However, none of them contribute to the group discussions. I even received a private email from one of the members, but no one has submitted to the forum or bulletin. (I don't understand the difference between the two).
I am hear to learn the mechanics and value you have found in social networking.
